“ Great place. You orderabd you have it ina minute or two. Good taste Samosa chaat -9/10 Dahi papdi - 8/10 Poori aaloo - 9/10 ”
“ For people allergic to suburban strip malls, the wonderful chaat house is well worth the freeway drive and is even only one mile from the warm springs Bart station so it’s completely bike-able! Chaat house was featured in the sf chronicle chaat overview of the Bay Area and has a front sweets bakery, range of chaats snacks and yummy revolving thali, all delightfully vegetarian and delicious. The place hits the spot and is a short driving distance from some epic bike trails. Kicking back to thali with the variety of delicious foods while watching retro Bollywood movies is just the best especially after a 20 mile bike ride late in the night. The spices are especially delicious, forget that the location is a strip mall, and eat down! We especially loved the bhel thali If you have a bike you can avoid driving altogether (maybe stick to sidewalks) as the Bart is nearby ”
“ Decent place to grab a quick bite and chai, coz sometimes you just need that for a little pick-me-up! We tried masala chai, dal kachori chat and dahi papdi chat. I would say entire order was ready and delivered to our table within 3-4 min. The taste was decent, chai was mildly sweet with extra sugar available on table, just how I prefer it. Both the chats had enough yoghurt and chutney, so they didn’t feel dry at all. Good balance of spices, and a little on the sweeter side. Overall the experience was great for a snack I would say! It’s a simple, fuss free restaurant. I hope you too find something good here for yourself! ”
“ We ordered a thali, chole bhature and dahi sev puri. Both were good and overall still one of the most affordable Indian restaurants around with good quality food. In the past we have tried their makke di roti and sarson saag which is really good and one of the highlights. ”
“ If you're in the mood for a delicious snack, Gaggu Manak Pani Puri Stand outside Chat House is a must-visit. The stand offers a classic street food experience, serving fresh, crispy puris filled with tangy tamarind water, spiced potatoes, and a variety of chutneys. The balance of flavors is spot on, with the right amount of crunch and spice to keep you coming back for more. The stand is always busy, which is a testament to its popularity, but the service remains quick and friendly. Gaggu Manak doesn’t skimp on ingredients, and the puris are always served piping fresh. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite with friends or to satisfy a late-night craving. If you’re a fan of pani puri, this spot will not disappoint! ”
“ This is a nice pure vegetarian Indian chat place with delicious dishes. They introduced Panner Shawarma recently and it is a nice and tasty addition. You can have everything wrapped or separate. This item is made with fried paneer with a good sauce and the Basmati are rice mixed together. Also served with Hummus and Greek salad. It tasted good. It is a nice place with lots of seating. They also sell ready made sweets and savories in a side. ”
“ Amazing live pani puri counter!!! Gaggu served the panipuris nonstop. If you’re in the area, must try this place! ”
“ been coming here since they opened. Love the food here and so many choices. My go to is curries that rotate daily with rotis. Most of the time its a takeout order for us to feed family. If you are a vegetarian worth checking out! ”
